In order to determine the optimal transition strategy and plan, a thorough valuation is required. At EdgePoint, we believe this is a critical part of the engagement process and, therefore, require that a thorough valuation be completed prior to committing our collective time to your transition needs. The valuation process requires a small amount of the owner’s time to gather information. The following basic financial information is requested:
  • 3 years of historical financials
  • Most recent interim financials
  • Projected forecasts or budgets
  • "Add back" assessment (discretionary or non-recurring expenses, etc.)
  • Historic and projected capital expenditures
  • Various facilitated discussions with EdgePoint professionals
  • Written business or strategic plan (if available)
